Be a part of the growing Anytime Fitness team.We are currently seeking a full-time Gym Manager to join our team for our Penticton location! The Gym Manager leads the team and ensures the business operates efficiently, cleanliness, ensuring the club is achieving projected membership/sales goals, and that each member has a positive and pleasant customer journey experience.Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment that will be conducive to maximize employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness

• Meet and exceed team sales quota by monitoring sales KPIs, forecasting, fine-tuning sales processes and ensuring consistency of sales metrics among the team

• Generate sales through providing guests with tours of the facility, business to business outreach, referrals from members, and promoting the facility by distributing guest passes to prospective members

• Facilitate community collaboration by arranging lead boxes at local businesses to increase club exposure in the community

• Be active in the community by organizing events regularly, connecting with other local businesses to support healthy relationships and marketing opportunities

• Prepare and present sales reports to management on a weekly basis

• Inspire and grow your sales team through leading by examples and building a positive team spirit; * Train all sales staff on the proper Anytime Fitness procedures and policies regarding gym tours, membership presentations, and sales tactics

• Keep the gym and the equipment clean throughout the day

• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all staff

• Monitor the hiring, training, and scheduling of all staff

• Properly delegate, monitor, and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of the sales team with the Sales Manager and the Marketing team

• Manage disciplinary actions involving all gym-level employees

Operational Duties:

• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high-volume retail environment through both personal actions and the development of the staff

• Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues

• Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as needed

• Ensure that the facility is clean and operationally sound

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma. Associate or Bachelors degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred

• Min. 1-year experience in the Fitness Industry

• Be sales-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company-required outreach programs

• Strong customer service skills

• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls, and facilities maintenance

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence

• Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor

• Proficient in the use of all software programs that are utilized at the facility

• Ability and experience in effectively motivating and managing a staff of employees

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
