ResponsibilitiesShall prepare and paint any gas distribution piping, equipment or buildings using brush, roller or spray equipment and to specification provided.Shall operate and use sand and glassbead high pressure blasting equipment.Drive company vehicles as required RequirementsDemonstrated safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations and practices on a sustained basis; must have safe driving record and be able to pass Company driving tests.Ability to absorb, follow and retain instructions relating to function.Good knowledge of basic paint types and application techniques. Ability to use air type and airless spray equipment as well as conventional brush and roller.Specific knowledge of mastics, red lead, zinc chromate and enamel.Sufficient mechanical aptitude to maintain painting equipment.Proficient in interpreting work orders, mechanical drawings, sketches and written instructions and record work done.Initiative and sense of responsibility.Ability to work independently and maintain a high level and quality of performance.
