Job Description

Wildstone currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Accounting Manager. This individual will perform all payroll tasks, as well as a variety of reconciliations, data entry, and Excel-based functions. This position has a flexible start date for the right candidate.Responsibilities include:

  • Download, adjust & reconcile time entries
  • Process and audit payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Prepare & submit source deductions, WCB reports, Employer Health Tax, T4’s, ROE’s and year-end statements
  • Track health benefit premiums
  • Track & process expense reports
  • Manage the Payroll email inbox
  • Cross-train within the accounting department to provide support during busy times and vacation coverage.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet firm deadlines
  • Strong keyboarding skills with excellent attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
  • Knowledge of Excel and interest in learning more
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 CRE an asset
  • Customer service focused
  • Self-motivated and innovation-minded
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly variable environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing business conditions & priorities
