If you have honed your acute care nursing practice and are an experienced and innovative clinical educator who is skilled in developing, implementing and evaluating clinical practice standards at a regional level; then we have a rewarding opportunity for you in our Professional Practice team based at Penticton Regional Hospital.The ideal applicant will be an established leader in clinical education, who will work autonomously within a high functioning team of subject matter experts who are responsible for developing clinical practice standards, implementing change and decision support tools for nurse Educators across the region. The successful applicant will have perioperative specialty education and be responsible for supporting the Regional Perioperative Education Program.The Regional Knowledge Coordinator in consultation with the Operations/Program/Practice Leader(s) works with Interior Health (IH) Leadership in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of education, training and related knowledge services within the assigned practice area(s).The Regional Knowledge Coordinator provides knowledge services leadership and promotes consistent development, application, delivery and integration of evidence-based knowledge services within the assigned practice area(s) by methods such as: integrating evidence informed knowledge; utilizing adult teaching /learning techniques; incorporating change management principles; and acting as a resource to staff and others by providing evidence, guidance and support in relation to education/knowledge transfer methods, technologies, best practices and initiatives.This is a Term full-time position until approximately October 2023. Days of work are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
