Major Work Area

  • Shop fabrication

  • Sheet Metal Worker Red Seal Certificate
  • Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification

  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Welding Techniques
  • Shielded metal ARC (SMAW)
  • Resistance or spot welding
  • Gas metal ARC (GMAW) (MIG)
  • Gas tungsten ARC (GTAW) (TIG)

  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
