Pincher Creek Foundation is offering a full-time, permanent Maintenance Co-ordinator position to perform planned and scheduled maintenance in Seniors and Family Social Housing units in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Locations include; Crestview Lodge, Canyon Manor Apartment Building, Canyon Manor Cottages and Willow Court Cottages and 12 Family Units located on Main Street, Charlotte St. and Foothills Ave, all in the town of Pincher Creek, Alberta.Position is full time (40 hour week) Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. On-call for weekend or after-hour emergencies is sometimes required.Responsible for maintenance, inspection and general repairs :· All equipment, plumbing fixtures, minor repairs to building and heating equipment.· Monitor work performed by contract workers.· Responsible for security, including organizing and conducting regular fire and emergency drills.· Scheduled apartment inspections, done quarterly at all Social Housing locations· Snow removal and ice melt on walkways and sidewalks at all locations· Regularly scheduled checks of Boilers, Generators, all gas fired equipment· Keep accurate maintenance logs as per Provincial Legislation & Accommodation Licensing Standards.Qualifications & Skills: · Power Engineer 5th Class or equivalent Boiler Training. Consideration may be given to candidates who require training.· Three to five years general maintenance experience.· Good interpersonal skills. Must be able to relate well with Seniors and Families.· Ability to work independently· Knowledge of OH&S Safety Standards and Risk Management· Good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.· Trade certification would be an asset.· Computer skills – Microsoft Word & Excel spreadsheet would be preferredWe thank all applicants for your interest, only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $27.00 per hourBenefits:
