Position: Outside Parts SalespersonPosition Type: Full timeLocation: Surrey, BCWork Schedule: Monday- FridayPosition Overview Velocity Truck Centres Canada, formally doing business as First Truck Centre, is looking for a Outside Parts Salesperson for our Surrey, BC dealership. The Outside Parts Salesperson is required to promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship approach. Primary Job Functions
  • Cold call new prospects,
  • Revisit existing customers to ensure Velocity is top of mind for parts
  • Visit designated territory, maintain CRM, and deliver products
  • Assist customers in selecting products and services that suit their needs
  • Utilize Computer systems to process parts and supplies, maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, make sales contracts, stock adjustments and process credit requests
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in sales or knowledge of transportation industry
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to determine appropriate actions
  • Customer service focused with strong communication skills to service and maintain customer relations including customer concerns
  • Proven results driven attitude
  • Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Post Secondary Education in Business, Sales or Marketing is an asset
  • Apprentice to Journeyman Parts Technician ticket is an asset
  • Valid class 5 driver #39;s license
