Job Description

Position: Service Advisor / Writer - EveningsPosition Type: Full time, PermanentLocation: Surrey, BC.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (4:00PM to 12:30am)Position OverviewVelocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as First Truck Centre, is looking for a SERVICE ADVISOR who excels at creating a high-quality customer experience to work in our Surrey, BC. location. Primary Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, book appointments, write up work orders, and schedule repairs
  • Create estimates for work that is required
  • Responsible for accurate invoicing
  • Sell repairs and services recommended by the technician to customers
  • Follow up with customers and keep them updated
  • Explain all work performed and charges
Qualifications
  • Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once
  • Confidence using computer systems, writing reports, and using scheduling tools
  • Experience with schedules and basic accounting procedures
  • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
  • Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
