Job descriptionSummer camp guides lead either the kids camp (ages 6-9) or youth camp (ages 10-12). Out-trips include White Pine Beach, Westhill Park, Old Orchard Park, Rocky Point, and more. A reliable car is recommended. Hours are generally between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday.We are looking for experienced camp, child care, and outdoor recreation professionals that wish to make a positive impact in the community. Extensive knowledge of games is recommended. Please include a recent Criminal Record Check if you have one. A CRC is required. Lifeguards are encouraged to apply.The position will include, but is not limited to:-Ensuring everyones wellness, safety, and engagement-Collaborating with other Camp Staff and Volunteers-Developing a safe, inclusive, and fun community for all-Anticipating potential challenges and de-escalating and resolving themFull time- 40 hours per weekThe position will generally be outdoors.
