Job Description

The position will provide services to students at: St. Thomas Aquinas School in ProvostThe successful service provider must:

  • possess a minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field
  • possesses the ability to communicate well with children, adolescents and families
  • have experience with group work and public speaking
  • have training or experience with basic counselling theory and practice conflict resolution/management
  • maintain strict confidentiality
  • collaborate with school and outside agencies to support students and families
  • work well both independently and as part of a team
  • be comfortable providing services within Catholic schools
  • provide a clear RCMP Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check) and an Intervention Record Check/Child Welfare Check from Child and Family Services
  • possess a valid Alberta driver’s license and reliable vehicle, as travel is required
