This position of responsible for:General office duties, including accurate and timely record-keeping and data entry, filing, photocopying, printing, mail, answering phones, emailing, etc.General accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, journal entries, account reconciliations and preparing third party remittances such as GST, PST, WCB, etc.Processing payroll, including, maintaining employee data, processing third remittances, preparing records of employment (ROEs), preparing and filing T4s.Assisting employees with questions related to payroll and other office record-keeping procedures.Maintaining safety recordsDesired traits/skills:Strong communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting) & QuickBooksHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong time management skillsAbility to work independentlyAccounting & Payroll background would be an asset but is not recommendedJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 18 monthsPart-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: $15.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
