You are trusted to work independently performing complex diagnostic, service repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.As our ideal team player, you have a passion for exceeding expectations; you take pride in the work you do; you strive to build partnerships in all relationships and look proactively to be a leader in your role by setting a good example for others.To be an effective Ag Equipment Mechanic, It #39;s also important to us:

• Completion of a certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic or similar. May consider 3rd or 4th level apprentices. Strong preference for John Deere certification and experience. Red Seal Journeyperson status is a very strong asset.
• Expert knowledge of John Deere agriculture equipment a very strong asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs
• Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and Turf equipment
• Computer skills required; Service Advisor an asset
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly and work seasonal extended hours and on weekends
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver #39;s license required; forklift license preferred
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
