Job Description

Are you organized and accurate with a strong drive for exceptional customer service Do you have an agriculture background with some machinery knowledge We have an immediate opening for a Service Writer at our Radville location. Prior experience is preferred but we are willing to train for the right individual.Responsibilities

  • Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Assists Service Manager with work orders and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced
  • Adds segments and job codes to work orders as needed
  • Maintains Service Department filing and records
  • Works closely with technicians answering questions on work orders, scheduling and status of jobs
  • Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years working in a service department
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Computer savvy able to use standard desktop applications
  • Knowledge of office procedures, work orders and job codes a strong asset
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms in an agriculture dealership is preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Steel toed footwear required
