Ignite a meaningful career at Westerner Park where boundless opportunities, growth, and fulfillment await YOU.Westerner Park is seeking an Foodamp; Beverage Services Administrative Assistant summer student to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program! Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Providing administrative support to the foodamp; beverage department as requested i.e., labeling, filing, laminating, paper trimming, creating excel sheets, preparing training manuals, and organizing documents.
  • Complete and review foodamp; beverage event document, assist with revisions to the foodamp; beverage services training programs.
  • Review and prepare all documents, reports and other correspondence materials
  • Coordinate departmental activities.
  • Assist with supporting at event time and helping to ensure successful event execution.
  • Take and transcribe dictation notes and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Assist with report and presentation preparation.

Is this you Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Attending a business related post secondary program, or a recent graduate, preferably with an Foodamp; Beverage or Hospitality focus, is an asset
  • Foodamp; Beverage experience is an asset
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • A pleasant, positive, and courteous attitude
  • Must qualify for the Canada Summer Jobs Program
