Job Description

  • Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement short-term and long-term plans, including setting goals and objectives, identifying key performance indicators, and developing strategies to achieve them.
  • Resource Management: Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the agricultural division to ensure efficient and effective operation, including budgeting, staffing, recruitment, and procurement.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to promote the products and services, including identifying target markets, developing pricing strategies, and creating promotional materials.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development of new products and services, including conducting market research, identifying opportunities for innovation, and collaborating with other departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer service standards are met or exceeded by the agricultural division, including addressing customer complaints and concerns, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Research and Development: Conduct and oversee research and development activities in the agricultural division, including identifying emerging trends and technologies, and exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders within the organization to ensure that the agricultural division is aligned with the overall strategic direction and goals of the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field.
  • 5+ year of experience in the retail industry, with a proven track record of success in management.
  • Strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills, communication, and Interpersonal skills.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • Knowledge of agribusiness and industry trends, including sustainability, technology, and innovation.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
