You oversee service operations within the location to ensure the highest level of internal and external customer satisfaction. You monitor and contribute to profitable service labor sales and exercise disciplined expense control. As an engaging leader you effectively connect, motivate and inspire department personnel to strive to increase performance while building customer relationships. For you to be successful in this role you:

• Understand financial reporting for a service department.

• Understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Recognize the challenges facing growers in the agriculture industry.

Your ideal qualifications to be selected for an interview:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in an agriculture service department with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Understanding of John Deere equipment and competitive products
• Agriculture Heavy Equipment Mechanic trade not required but a strong asset
• Computer skills required. Microsoft 365, Service Advisor and CDK a strong asset
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the United States on occasion.
