About UsThe Information Technology Division (ITD) of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement supplies a full-range of IT services to government ministries and agencies. It supports government customers with help desk, hardware and software, application development and IT security services. The ITD also sets government-wide policies and standards in IT infrastructure, support services and security.The OpportunityThe Citizen Centric Program Delivery Branch is actively seeking an individual with effective communication, cross-team collaboration, and strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills for the role of Enterprise Services Team Lead. Reporting to the Manager within the Citizen Centric Program Delivery unit, you will lead, support, develop, and mobilize three small teams towards a shared purpose in the best interests of the branch, Government of Saskatchewan, and service delivery to citizens. This role involves oversight of three key services: Certificate Management, 3rd-party Vendor support, Internal Project Coordination and App/Server Decommissions.Your responsibilities will include:• Lead, supervise, train, assign tasks, evaluate, and coach a diverse team to ensure effectiveness.• Clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing to various individuals and groups.• Actively listen, influence, persuade, or negotiate to achieve mutually acceptable solutions and formal agreements promptly, addressing ongoing program and business requirements.• Independently prioritize and organize team resources and workload, considering tight deadlines, budget constraints, business needs, and evolving work programs.• Research, analyze, and evaluate diverse information and situations to identify options and provide recommendations for information technology solutions, resolving service delivery issues.• Cultivate an environment that encourages open communication, positive work relationships, and recognizes individual strengths to foster a productive team.• Stay current in the dynamic IT environment.• Address and resolve conflicts within the team.• Oversee project timelines and deliverables.The Ideal CandidateAs our successful candidate you will be a results-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and bring the experience below:• Completion of a degree in computer science or technical diploma.
