Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAffinity Group Canada is a well established successful and growing company that prides itself on being one of the premier food brokers in Canada.Since 1989, our success has been driven by the number of industry leading food manufacturers that we represent.We pride ourselves on having a dedicated sales team, strong customer service orientation, extensive product knowledge and a professional, challenging and rewarding work environment.SUMMARY: The Affinity Group Foodservice Sales Representative is responsible for calling on independent restaurant operations and demonstrating products as well as presenting new and existing menu items.A culinary background would be a definite asset for this role. We provide an extensive training program for eager candidates.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calling on independent restaurant operations and demonstrating product, develop and present newamp; existing menu items
  • Maximize sales by encouraging restaurants to use products represented
  • Timely submission of critical reports
  • Achieve sales projections and targets
  • Participate at industry trade shows
  • Cook food products and put menu combinations together to aid in the sale process
  • Other duties as assigned
The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Have a valid driver’s license and own car
  • Be results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Work well with teams and have strong motivational skills
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and oral with a strong command of the English language
  • Have excellent computer skills at an intermediate level
  • Have planning and organizational skills
  • Have Culinary experience
  • Have the drive to succeed and a great attitude
  • College or University preferred
  • Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills
