This information must be available to ensure the equipment and raw materials are best utilized while ensure the needs of the customers are being meet.Duties and Responsibilities- Programing and scheduling of the various pieces of CNC equipment within the metal processing area. Including, plasma torch, Laser, Press brakes and Rolls.- Focus on manufacturing products in the most efficient manner while increasing factory throughput and output.- Focus on continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.- Work closely with programming and scheduling manager to ensure an accurate short and long term plan to meet the needs of the metal processing customers.- Ensure material utilization is better than the prescribed requirement, if not must raise issue to the manager- Generate reports indicating machine performance and material utilization- Follow standard operating procedures as defined by manager and give input and suggestions on ways to improve- Monitor loading on each piece of equipment and shift work between work centers to maintain a level load, shortest lead time and effective use of raw materials.- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.- Very good organization and team collaboration skills- Self-starter who is results oriented with a strong work ethic- Attention to detail- Strong analytical skills- Ability to learn software programs very quickly- Can read drawings
