How to Apply: Please visit the Careers section of our website at https://www.sama.sk.ca/careers and complete our online application process.Application InformationEmployer Name: Saskatchewan Assessment Management AgencyIncorrect map location Hide the mapContact Name: .Contact Phone: .Employer Website: https://www.sama.sk.ca/careersDescriptionPosition Overview:The successful candidate will join SAMAs Industrial Unit in this full-time, summer term Assessment Assistant position.Reporting to the Industrial Manager, the incumbents primary duties will consist of assisting senior appraisers with the valuation of industrial properties.The successful candidate can expect to be working in the field 60% of the time with the remaining 40% in an office environment.The term is expected to run from May 6 to August 30, 2024.Responsibilities: Provide support services to industrial appraisers in conducting field inspections including the collection and organization of physical data; Other duties related to assessment as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good communication and public relations skills Good interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Demonstrated skills using Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently or with limited supervision Good problem-solving and time management skillsRequired Professional Designations/Certification: Fall 2024 enrolment in a post-secondary institution (university or college). A valid class 5 drivers license and a clean driver #39;s abstract is required.Preference may be given to post-secondary students enrolled in the field of property assessment, Business or Agriculture.The successful candidate will be trained in First Aid, H2S Alive, and WHMIS.Employment with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
