Youth Program Instructors work in various YMCA programs building skills in children, youth and teens of all abilities. We are looking for candidates with dedication, passion and leadership skills, if this is YOU, keep reading!The YMCA of Regina is looking for exceptional talent to deliver Youth and Preschool-aged recreational and instructional programs including but not limited to: Day Camps, Sport, Physical Literacy, Science and Art, and Child Minding.Daytime, evening, and weekend hours available.Responsibilities:* Working in a collaborative environment, Program Instructors build relationships with all program participants and program families, reflecting the values of the YMCA.* Using YMCA curriculum, Program Instructors are responsible for weekly program plans and instruction of assigned classes.* Provide developmentally appropriate supervision to children ranging from infant to 12 years of age.* Promote healthy living and recreation in program participants.Requirements:* The successful candidate will exhibit a high level of organizational aptitude and creativity* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively manage groups through strong interpersonal and communication skills* Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to first day of work and dated no more than 3 months before hire date* First Aidamp; CPR preferred
