Do YOU have the Frontier Spirit If the answer is yes, you should probably work with us.Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking a Site Administrator to join our team in Resolute Bay, NU. The Site Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of day-to-day business administrative duties in support of Resolute operations, as well as overall support to contracted administrative functions.The position will be located on site at the Resolute Bay, NU and will work on a rotation of 8 weeks on and 4 weeks off.Where We Work and Live:ATCO Frontec has been operating in Resolute Bay since 1970 and have a long history of providing services in the North. The ATCO Frontec team in Resolute Bay provides logistics services for various Northern Government and private sector initiatives, including support and maintenance for the Polar Continental Shelf Program, the Resolute Bay Weather Observation, and the operation, maintenance and distribution of fuel for the hamlet and the Resolute Bay airport. The project team also provides logistics and operational support to initiatives in surrounding communities including Eureka and Grise Fiord. With a wide range of resources and experience, the Resolute Bay team can handle any operation in one of the most hostile climates in Canada.Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall administrative support to the management and project team.
  • Responsible for daily correspondence with clients and vendors.
  • Answers telephones and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develops and maintains manual and computerized records and reports.
  • Prepares service orders, presentations, reports and other related materials.
  • Ensures all project cost information and back up is prepared in a timely manner and submitted to the Yellowknife office for processing (daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation’s).
  • Arranges crew flight and hotel in accordance with the site rotation Schedule and operational requirements.
  • Follows all Safe Work Job Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures which are applicable to the specific tasks.
  • Primary point of contact for all project required administrative functions.
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Administrative training from a recognized school, college or demonstrated relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of five year of experience in administrative/office or administrative/financial role.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural fast paced work environment.
  • Experience working in remote camp setting or northern Canada is considered an asset.
