Job Description

On behalf of our Healthcare client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Portfolio Analyst (Healthcare experience) to join our client #39;s team on a contract basis.Summary of the Role:The Portfolio Analyst is an integral part of the Connected Health System team responsible for assisting with the management and coordination of projects, programs, and portfolios as required.

  • Responsible for preparing high-quality project artifacts and related presentations (e.g., Project Charters, business cases, briefing notes, monthly reports, etc.)
  • Assist with project administration deliverables (e.g., budget tracking, schedule updates, project closeout documentation, etc.)
  • Participating in a variety of meetings by scheduling, drafting agendas, gathering background documents, attending and recording proceedings, preparing and distributing minutes and tracking follow-up action items
  • Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure delivery success, including successful management of risk and dependencies.
  • Liaising with other administrators to coordinate activities including working groups with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing information on the team SharePoint site ensuring information is well structured, up-to-date, secure and accessible.
  • Using project scheduling and control tools to assist the program manager to monitor and track external resources.
  • Support change management documentation and stakeholder engagement coordination.
Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working as a project/program coordinator
  • Previous experience with large-scale IT projects for the health authorities of BC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise, structured and well written documents and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets, word-processing, PowerPoint, and other software at an intermediate
  • Experience working within the Health Authorities is highly preferred
