Job Description

Job DescriptionAs a role model and business leader, the Laura Canada Regional Manager inspires and motivates their team to achieve results. Utilizing winning business skills along with innovation and entrepreneurial spirit to create a team that is hungry to deliver outstanding customer service and grow the existing clientele base.A leader who will challenge and identify opportunities in the market, recruit top talent, build, and train a strong dynamic team.Critical Functions1.Financial Objectives

  • Achieves key financial objectives established by Laura Canada:
  1. Actual Sales vs Budget
  2. Segment Accountability/Floor Leadership
  3. Wage Cost
  4. CRM/E-receipts
  5. Clientele Development/Connect
2.Productivity
  • Reviews stores’ schedules weekly and ensures Managers are reacting to sales and traffic trends while ensuring Wage Cost is in line with hours budget given.
  • Analyzes KPI (Key Performance Indicators) weekly including Connect (dashboards) and clienteling reports for each store and acts with a sense of urgency and applies appropriate measures as needed.
  • Reviews Kibo and customer order reports and ensures follow-ups with store Management as needed.
  • Reviews stores’ SPH and Management contribution reports monthly and takes appropriate measures to ensure expectations are met.
3.Business Management
  • Is creative and innovative in identifying regional/store opportunities to generate sales and business growth.
  • Works with the Marketing Team to identify opportunities in malls or properties to gain traffic and exposure of the brand.
  • Creates action plans to impact bottom-performing stores and follows up to ensure success.
  • Trains and educates the team using our internal tools and resources.
  • Uses technology to create new ways to grow clientele base and impact business (videos, virtual shopping, etc.).
  • Empowers their team to support and grow all channels of the business by increasing the Omni customer base.
  • Reviews and gives feedback on floor leadership and segment accountability on a weekly basis.
  • Ensures all stores maintain and comply with all corporate directives (i.e. Marketing, Merchandising, Visual, Human Resources, Loss Prevention).
  • Utilizes business tools to impact results.
  • Conducts visual walk-through on each store visit to ensure visual and housekeeping standards are met.
  • Builds strong partnerships between stores and Head Office and fosters a collaborative partnership.
4.Customer Service
  • Ensures all stores uphold our vision of “creating unique and memorable shopping experiences.
  • Celebrates and encourages “surprise and delight” moments in our stores and with our customers.
  • Follows up on clientele development to ensure the use of “Connect” to develop and grow our customer base.
  • Monitors and coaches on content of Connect communications to ensure quality over quantity of communications (suggesting items, pictures, videos, etc.).
  • Trains Managers and team to host virtual appointments.
  • Coaches all store Management to maintain high standards of customer service using the LAURA standards.
  • Ensures all store Management demonstrate floor leadership and have good control of sales floor (LAURA standards, zone coverage, cash desk area, fitting rooms).
  • Ensures all store Management act as role models in developing excellent customer relationships.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to grow business and influence traffic.
5.People Management
  • Maintains a performing team through ongoing coaching and deals with underperforming staff in a timely manner utilizing the Company’s coaching tools.
  • Utilizes internal tools and programs to promote internal growth. Follows up monthly on programs in progress with candidates and Managers.
  • Recruits top talent by networking, connecting through social media platforms and using Company recruitment tools.
  • Ensures that stores maintain the proper administration of employee files.
  • Resolves employee issues in a timely manner and partners with Human Resources as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Completes all assigned administrative functions with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Provides formal recaps to the Regional Director of Sales at the end of each store visit.
  • Ensures that the region is being cost effective (i.e. supplies, damages, petty cash expenses).
  • Evaluates and provides regular feedback on effectiveness of marketing tools, regional events, etc.
  • Organizes and delivers regional and area meetings.
  • Conducts “Train the Trainer” sessions within the region and monitors the quality and number of trainers on an ongoing basis.
  • Orchestrates the opening and/or closing of stores within the market as needed.
  • Participates in inventory twice per year and all other events/meetings as needed.
  • Ensures all staff is aware of and understands all Company policies such as Loss Prevention and Human Resources policy manuals.
