Job Description

POSITION:Scene Ideas Inc. is looking for a full-time Warehouse Labourer to assist in our busy warehouse. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy, positive and enthusiastic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced business and contribute to a collaborative team environment. This position will predominantly take place in our warehouse but there may be times when working at event job sites is required. This role is suited to a punctuational individual with a positive attitude who is willing to learn and excel in their position.This roll requires a fit person capable of safely lifting heavy rental objects.A valid class 4 license with experience driving rental type box/cube trucks is a must.OBJECTIVE:To assist as directed in the warehouse or on job sites.GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Assisting with general duties as needed in the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Safely securing loads and protecting fragile items for shipping.
  • Pulling, receiving, and maintaining inventory as required for projects.
  • Completing general housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed.
  • Completing full and accurate documentation of all work performed.
  • Following and maintaining safety standards and procedural guidelines.
  • Assisting crews at event job sites as needed.
  • Contributing to a positive, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLSamp; EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver #39;s license with a clean driving record is an asset.
  • Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Capacity to establish priorities and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to liaise well with others and work within a team.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work and think independently without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to work additional time was necessary to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift and carry seventy-five (75) pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and work from a ladder and personal lift.
  • Must have the vision and dexterity to safely operate stationary and portable power tools and hand tools if needed.
  • A valid class 4 license with experience driving rental type box/cube trucks is a must
