Job Description

Hawk Tail Brewery is excited to add to our dynamic taproom team. We are a growing brewery located in Rimbey Alberta surrounded by beautiful Alberta prairies. We love all things craft beer and strive to convey that through the experiences and products we offer. We are searching for a strong experienced server / manager to join our team.The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage and schedule front of house staff
  • Provide excellent customer service when covering shifts from last minute staff cancelations
  • Enforce company policies on dress code, and all other professionally minded policies.
  • Schedule, organize and help promote events
  • Work as a host to control flow in the busy summer months
  • Knowledgeably pour beer, mix Hawk Tail Cocktails, and brew local coffees.
  • Stock off-sales and rotate and manage kegs of beer...you can skip the gym if its a busy day.
  • Servers Manage own float
  • Distribute tip pools and check cash outs
  • Add to the Hawk Tail team chemistry by communicating professionally/respectfully with all Hawk Tail stakeholders.
  • Be an Ambassador of the Hawk Tail Brand in all interactions.
  • Previous Serving experience, as well as craft beer knowledge, would be an asset but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A great attitude, strong communication skills, honest and reliable.
  • Must be 18yrs of age and have Pro Serve
This position will be flexible, and scheduled to be part time. It is likely during the winter season to be working more hours during events. It is also likely during the high season in the summer that full time will be required.Managers will be included in the tip pool year round (This can range from $3 to $7 dollars an hour more)Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00-$20.00 per hourBenefits:
