Job Description

POSITION: 2xTemporary Liquor Store Clerk (8-23 hours/week) (Term Ending October 1, 2023) LOCATION: Evergreen Co-op Liquor Store, Rimbey, AB Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the Liquor Store Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the liquor store. Applicants must be available weekdays, evenings, and weekends.Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
  • Being dependable for all scheduled shifts
  • Developing a good understanding and operating of the till
  • Assisting in packing customer purchases at the checkout counter
  • Stocking shelves as required and make necessary deliveries
  • Maintaining a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
  • Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program
  • Completing any other duties as assigned
  • This position requires an ample amount of static standing, lifting, bending, and twisting
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Organizational skills and great time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Liquor product knowledge is an asset
  • Must have Proserv certificate
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted
