Job Description

POSITION: Hardware ManagerLOCATION: Evergreen Co-op Rimbey locationReporting to the Home Centre Manager, the Hardware Manager will work closely with the Home Centre Manager to ensure that the location accomplishes department objectives for the Hardware department by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities and goals. The successful candidate will have a passion for people, living our values of Team Work, Integrity and Excellence.Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional member service
  • Maintaining staff levels by selecting, orientating, developing personal growth opportunities and training Team Members
  • Participating in staff communication, such as huddle ups, splinter meetings and/or sit-down meetings
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and legal working environment
  • Achieving results by communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising performance through talent management including coaching and disciplining employees
  • Coordinating workloads and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Establishing strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operational information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes
  • Accomplishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual budgets; controlling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Maintaining exceptional service by enforcing quality customer interactions, and problem solving
  • Pursuing continual learning by attending educational workshops available on the CRS hub, CRS courses and marketing meetings

  • Physically capable of performing dynamic and static movements, repetitive motions, and repeated lifting of up to 50Ibs unassisted
