Your Opportunity:Rimbey is a small town of approximately 2600 and is located approximately 45 minutes north west of Red Deer. Our facility serves the town and surrounding rural area and communities including Eckville, Winfield, Buck Lake, Bluffton, Bentley, Breton, and Sylvan Lake. Our hospital was rebuilt in 2008 and contains a 23 bed acute care unit, 12 bed ER and 1 bed obstetrical suite. Our multidisciplinary team works closely together to service all of the needs of our residents. Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many AHS employees are restricted to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum; and are either in their 1st year of practical nursing program; or 2nd year of baccalaureate nursing or psychiatric nursing program will be considered. Must attest to this compliance and provide proof of qualification.Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to function capably in a busy acute care, ER, and obstetrical environment.
