POSITION: (2) Liquor Store Clerks (8-23 hours/week)LOCATION: Evergreen Co-op Liquor Store, Rimbey, ABReporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the Liquor Store Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the liquor store. Applicants must be available weekdays, evenings, and weekends.Responsibilities will include:Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customersBeing dependable for all scheduled shiftsDeveloping a good understanding and operating of the tillAssisting in packing customer purchases at the checkout counterStocking shelves as required and make necessary deliveriesMaintaining a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standardsAdhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety programCompleting any other duties as assignedThis position requires an ample amount of static standing, lifting, bending, and twistingWe are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:Organizational skills and great time managementExcellent written and verbal communicationLiquor product knowledge is an assetMust have Proserv certificateAbility to work independently in a team environmentAbility to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer serviceAbility to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted“As part of Evergreen Co-operative Association’s hiring process, pre-employment background checks will be required for all candidates.
