Job Description

Our company is searching for an integral new team member to coordinate our day-to-day sales, rentals, parts, and service offerings and meet our customers’ equipment needs in Southern Alberta. As the go-to resource for the Service Manager and shop technicians, you would be responsible for assisting with all sales and rental activities at our branch in Airdrie, Alberta. You will also be responsible for managing parts inventories, as well as ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, and loose parts. You would also be relied upon to assist the branch service manager with scheduling and coordinating repair jobs, and data entry for repair orders.   • Assist the Service Manager with scheduling bookings, written work orders, and assisting the service mechanics with inventory.
  • The Service Coordinator will assist in keeping the shop flow organized and give the technicians what they need to get the job done with minimal downtime.
  • Support service manager with scheduling and coordinating repair jobs, and data entry for repair orders and invoicing.
  • Assist with Quoting, invoicing, and shipping purchased parts to customers.
  • Assist with Maintaining inventory min/max and re-order levels so that we have common parts available in-house. Replenish inventory by placing consolidated purchase orders with vendors.
  • Receiving orders, packaging, and shipping all parts orders in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with Process Warranty Claims for parts in a timely manner. Review and process all returned/rejected/adjusted warranty claims and track each claim until its final resolution.
Additional Office Related Duties:
  • Answer customer telephone calls as a backup to reception.
  • Manage office supplies and re-order as necessary.
  • Future roles could include parts sales assistance if interest and aptitude are shown.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar role in an equipment dealership, equipment rental agency, or related industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, very detail-oriented.
  • Lead by example and work professionally in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work quickly within tight schedules and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional, hard-working takes pride in their work and role within the team.
  • Good computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Class 5 or 7 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Additional Assets:
  • Post-secondary training in business, administration, professional sales, or marketing.
  • Technical trades training, preferably in a related program such as Heavy-Duty Technician (Off-Road).
  • Advanced technical understanding of hydraulic attachments and excavator equipment.
  • Previous experience using a large forklift, 10,000 lb capacity minimum. Forklift training provided.
This position is full-time and permanent and starts ASAP. Work hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with opportunities for overtime.Comprehensive Benefits Package Offered After the Probationary Period Includes:
