As a result, Westfield has grown to be the number one portable grain auger manufacturer in North America.OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Safety Trainer to add to our team in our facility in Rosenort, MB. The Safety Trainer will plan and facilitate all health and safety related training for the 500+ employees, 3 shift manufacturing plant. The role reports to the Director of Operations. The role is responsible for ensuring that Healthamp; Safety specific training is administered, managed, and maintained regularly.Responsibilities:

• Deliver and facilitate structured safety and regulatory training, development programs and initiatives in support of the company #39;s training plan and objectives.
• Update materials as regulations and legislations change.
• Provide coaching, reinforcement of safety policy and procedures in cooperation with the leadership team.
• Perform administrative duties to track completion of training, scheduling of classes and resources, compile and prepare statistical information on training program status.
• Position will require candidate to have flexibility to conduct training sessions during any of the three operating shifts and be available to the needs of the various groups this position will support.
• Maintain technical excellence levels for all Safety training material.
• Team member will be certified through a Train the Trainer process, support managing day to day Certification Processes.
• Improve local team performance through increasing skills and time to certification processes.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years #39; experience conducting/ leading training, including On-The-Job training, or similar, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience leading Fall Arrest, Forklift, Working at Heights training.
• Willingness to work on the floor, with all shifts, in a heavy manufacturing world, to ensure we can document and teach critical work processes.
• Microsoft Office Experience Preferred- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Forms
• Results oriented person that looks for continuous improvement
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Able to partner and build relationships to influence teams to work together, share best practices and develop and drive effective training for operations teams.
