Job Description

Administrative Assistant - Full Time Permanent Position Start Date: As soon as possibleSensus Chartered Professional Accountants Ltd. is a medium-sized, growth orientated public practice accounting firm with five offices in Manitoba (Brandon, Roblin, Russell, Shoal Lake & Virden) and one office in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. We are now hiring for an Administrative Assistant within our Russell, MB office.Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting clients & assisting them with their enquiries
  • Answering and referring inbound telephone calls on a multi-line telephone
  • Scheduling appointments & managing the electronic calendar for the office
  • Processing client invoices, receiving & processing payments, preparing daily bank deposits, recording receipts into client database
  • Managing Files - filing, record keeping, data entry, producing monthly reports and performing a variety of other office tasks, such as faxing & emailing
  • Coordinate and perform e-file transmissions to Canada Revenue Agency for corporate tax returns, personal income tax returns and other tax forms as required
  • Setting up files for new and existing clients and assisting with completion of administrative work including client income tax packages
  • Coordinating between departments to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational problems
  • Other general administrative duties such as: preparing business correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and sending out/receiving mail, managing inventory of supplies etc.
