We are a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground and we are looking for hard working individuals to join our growing team.We are looking for someone with prior courier and large truck experience and pay a weekly salary rate with bonus incentives that are very competitive. All the tools and training are provided to perform the job.Delivery Driver Responsibilities:Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.Completion of all assigned deliveries and manage pickups within given timeUse of hand held device to record all activity for the day.Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packagesOrganize and plan route using area map or route plan and navigation appsProfessional attitude and interact effectively with operation teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work at a fast pace be self motivated and work well on your own and as a team.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentFull valid driver’s licenseClean drivers abstract (no more than 1 violation within last 3 years)Clean criminal background checkMinimum of one (1) year commercial driving experience within the last (3) years ( cube van, straight truck, step van/truck )*Note* Shift timings and scheduled days of work may change from time to time based on business requirements; therefore, flexibility in your schedule is a required.ONBOARDING & TRAINING:All candidates are required to pass interviews, criminal history check, & have clean drivers abstract no more than 1 traffic violation in the last 3 years in order to qualify for the role.Training will be provided to those selected for the positionPlease be sure to include any relevant experience when applying for the position.
