Job DetailsFull-timeFull Job DescriptionMOTA Express Ltd is looking for a full time BC/Ops Supervisor in Victoria BC, Please read this carefully before applying. Successful Candidate will be managing this operation and reporting directly to the AO.Hands on experience in parcel pick-up and delivery operations6+ months of management experience in a teamPrior experience with FedEx Ground operations is ideal. Operations Supervisor (BC): Requirements and ExpectationsLeadership and the ability to manage a team is critical to the success of this role. You will be responsible for DRO and Route planning, distributing daily route assignments, manage end of day check-in process, communicate and practice safety at each shift, troubleshoot fleet and equipment issues and arranging maintenance and repairs as needed, address drivers who are not properly coding packages, and exceed service and safety targets for each route and driver. Other primary functions related to ensuring customer service standards are met are as follows:Manage DRO and route planning to maximize package count and ensure new Drivers get training routes. Make adjustments as needed based on volumeCommunicate with Station staff on all matters such as route assignment and dispatchTrack and report missing packages or delayed routesCommunicating standard work and safety tips daily and lead weekly tailgates on safetyOn-road support and breakdowns, accidents and towing coordinationRescue coordination & track routes throughout the day and plan rescues as neededTraining new drivers and coordinating ride alongfollow safety compliance and coach on any problem areasDriving, route and navigation ability to run any route and fill in when neededPRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced Fedex BC/ Manager is idealHighly Reliable and Hard WorkingExperienced in Fedex DRO Application is idealAble to Manage Morning Dispatch of Drivers/FleetManage Employee Work Schedules and SupervisionTrack Safety Key Indicators and Driver CoachingExperience Driving Fedex Ground Routes is preferredSupport and development of company policies and procedures.Professional and courteous to FedEx Ground terminal management.Required:
