Job Description

Pacific Fireplaces is your premier fireplace store. We are locally owned and family operated since 1999, specializing in the installation and maintenance of gas, wood, and electric fireplaces. We are a well-established company looking for long-term employees to grow and advance within the company.We currently have one opening for the position of showroom receptionist/assistant. This is a full-time position with some seasonal considerations.If you are a responsible person full of enthusiasm, detail oriented and possess excellent customer service skills you may be the person we are looking for.Duties for this role will include but are not limited to: Greet & screen clients and direct clients to appropriate staff memberAnswer phone and direct calls to relevant staffCreate invoices, receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the sales ordersAssisting clients on showroom floor by demonstrating products, providing education and resources to perspective clientsDispatch installation & service jobs to techniciansPerform and maintain general cleaning and organizing schedule of showroomLearn & use dispatching & invoicing system softwareGain relevant product knowledge in order to assist clients over the phone or in the showroomContinuous learning of hearth products and relevant product knowledge in order to assist clientsAssist potential customers by answering product and service questionsPerform any other special duties as requested by managerRequirements and Qualifications: High school diploma is requiredAt least one-year customer service experience/ administrative experience is requiredAbility to be comfortable on sales floor is an assetStrong interpersonal/customer service skillsBasic math skills for invoicingProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsA positive attitude with the ability to communicate and interact with customers and colleagues in a professional mannerAbility to stay organized while effectively multi- taskingQuick learnerAbility to work as a team and work independently with minimum supervisionDesire to learn and grow within the companyJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 20-40 per weekSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
