Our company #39;s success is driven by our dynamic, highly-skilled and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area #39;s economy and sense of community.The Role:As part of the Shipping team you will work the continental day shift, the hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and report to the shift Supervisor or Lead Hand.You will be responsible for:- O rder picking- P reparing orders for shipping- L oadingamp; unloading trucks- V erifying load accuracy- V erifying incoming goods against invoices- S afe storage and handling of goodsThe ideal candidate will have:- Strong attention to detail- E xcellent communication skills- T he ability to work as part of a team in a high demanding, deadline driven environment- Preference will be given to candidates with shipping/receiving; however, on the job training will be provided- Forklift license is an assetCooke offers full-time year round employment, competitive rates and a competitive benefits package which includes health and dental as well as a company matched pension.The Opportunity:The role description is just one part of the story.
