In this role, you will ship and receive client and supplier orders. In addition to handling merchandise and packaging client orders, the Warehouse Assistant must maintain an organized warehouse and an up-to-date inventory.Responsibilities

  • Perform physical receiving of supplier orders, ensure unloading and verify delivery documents to validate goods received
  • Handle merchandise, using equipment (forklift and pallet truck) for unloading and storage
  • Perform quality control (physical counts, visual inspections, functionality tests), and ensure product compliance and identify non-compliance
  • Identify and store merchandise and finished goods
  • Ensure that the correct quantities are maintained in inventory and in the correct locations
  • Use software to manage, receive and ship orders (client and supplier), as well as consult and process all types of data
  • Prepare and package client orders in keeping with the delivery schedule
  • Ensure physical shipment of client orders, working with carriers
  • Prepare materials for daily assembly of ISAAC products
  • Adhere to procedures and participate in updating them
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional tight deadlines
  • Organizational skills, high level of rigor, attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability and interest in performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to distinguish part numbers and figures
  • Physical stamina, and the ability to lift merchandise up to 20 kg
  • Professionalism, teamwork, and client service skills
  • Resourcefulness, ability to adapt to change
  • Computer skills
  • Completed high school diploma (DES)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
Assets
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in logistics or equivalent
  • Forklift operator training (preferred)
  • Experience in assembly line production
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
  • Ability to use management software such as Netsuite and Salesforce
