Business Analyst, Maintenance (12-month Term) page is loaded Business Analyst, Maintenance (12-month Term) Apply locations Saint John time type Full time posted on Posted 7 Days Ago job requisition id R122481 As a Business Analyst on our Maintenance Planningamp; Scheduling team at our refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, you will provide business information, analysis, and recommendations to Operation and General Managers. This is a 12-month term opportunity where your contributions will impact Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Business Lines and Resource Groups in asset effectiveness, profitability, and efficiency benchmarks, determining value drivers, etc. What we offer:

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide managers with proper, valid, reliable, and accurate information to make business decisions and assist them with analysis/recommendations.
  • Assist and analyze current state business processes and develop recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with creation of new reports and reporting techniques to improve effectiveness and understanding of company and industry data.
  • Develop process models using Microsoft office tools such as word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Provide day-to-day knowledge, support, and analysis for ECMO Business Lines/Resource Groups i.e. KPIs, asset effectiveness, profitability and efficiency benchmarks, value drivers, etc. by gathering information/data from various departments/systems
  • Ensure appropriate return is achieved on marketing related initiatives.
  • Participate in testing and implementation for process improvement/change.
Your skills:
  • Good, collaborative relationship building skills to work with cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple priorities, and change priorities quickly as needed.
  • Good written and oral communication skills to develop clear requirement statements.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Ability to see connections between situations not obviously related.
  • Good analytical abilities: can analyze complex situations and break into constituent parts.
  • Work well in a high-pressure environment.
Your experience:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience using Power BI as a reporting tool considered an asset.
