As an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, you will assist in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service, and that our canvas loft is efficient, well-managed and always up to standards.What you #39;ll doResponsibilities

  • Industrial sewing on single needle, zig zag machines and industrial cutting tools including tasks such as: pattern drafting, cutting, prototyping and maintaining quality control
  • Work closely with Operations and Senior Management to drive improvements through weekly Production Meetings
  • Ensure all processes are adhered to, suggesting feedback improvements where possible
  • Accountable for the setup, maintenance and appearance of the workshop, raising any issues and keeping cleanliness and organization top class
  • Accountable for enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment within the Loft
  • Prepare and maintain accurate customer records such as project measurements, drawings, quotes, work orders and customer contact information
  • Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to meet timelines
What you #39;ll needQualifications
  • 1-3 years experience with Industrial sewing
  • 1-3 years of customer facing sales or customer service experience an asset
  • Experience managing inventory control and logistics, including materials management
  • You know how to work hard AND have fun
