Job Description

Packaging / Finishing Production AssociatePlasticraft is a dynamic and fast-growing specialty print company. We are committed to providing the best quality digital marketing solutions for our customers across Atlantic Canada!As a Packaging / Finishing Production Associate, you will work closely with all members of the team from all departments. The successful candidate must possess the ability to learn and operate basic technology, have an eye for details, and the patience to address the many variables that arise.Successful candidate should have the following qualifications:- Quick learner- Excellent problem-solving capabilities- Ability to multi-task and work with tight deadlines- Ability to work safely, identify hazards and follow safety procedures- Comfortable interpreting Microsoft Excel spreadsheet dataPhysical Demands:- Ability to perform repetitive, manual material handling without restriction requiring (but not limited to) the following physical abilities: kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping- Must demonstrate the strength and aerobic capacity required for the above-mentioned work up to 8 hours each day- Ability to lift 50 pounds dailyKey Responsibilities:- Prepare product for shipment and physical verification of outgoing customer orders prior to departure- Receive product, validate quantities ordered to quantities received and store in appropriate location as required- Tracks and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments- Keeps shipping and receiving work area clean and organized- Collaborates and communicates with all team members, assures policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met- All other duties as assignedQualifications:- Previous warehouse experience would be considered an asset- Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One would be an asset- Post-secondary or Trade Certificate considered an asset- High school diploma, or equivalent required- Good written and verbal communication skills- Strong sense of time management and urgency- Able to work independently and within a teamTo Apply for this Career Opportunity:Please apply online today!
