Job Description

IPEX Management is a leading manufacturer in thermoplastic PVC plastic pipe systems. We design the largest, most recognized and diverse range of integrated piping products-Everything professionals need to handle the full spectrum of today #39;s municipal, industrial, commercial and residential challenges!We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Shipper-Receiver-Yard Worker to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre located in Saint John, NB! It #39;s a 15 months contract with all benefits for covering a maternity leave!Monday to Friday from 8am to 4h30pm.19,50$/h and 22,76$/h in 6 months!Full insurances and benefits from Day 1 !And much more!RESPONSIBILITIES:The Distribution Centre staff’s responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very demanding client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. You will get the opportunity to do a little bit of everything! In this role, you will report to the distribution manager and carry out daily tasks at the St-John’s New-Brunswick distribution center.

  • Perform duties within the RF processes in place;
  • Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight; to ensure warehouse goals are met;
  • Cycle Counts;
  • Stock Replenishment;
  • Receiving and locating product using RF technology;
  • Execute work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met;
  • Maintain a strict housekeeping standard in accordance with 5S protocols;
  • Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets;
  • Apply and comply with HSE guidelines and C-TPAT policies;
  • Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions;
  • Commit to the success of the team;
  • Any other related tasks requested by the superior.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a high-school diploma or relevant experience;
  • Ability to meet daily deadlines and to work in an environment where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day;
  • Must be able to use RF technology;
  • Able to read and write in English;
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred;
  • Previous experience operating forklifts preferred;
  • Ability to stay on your feet for long periods at a time;
  • Ability to work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times;
  • Good communication skills and some computer knowledge;
  • Diligent and Punctual;
  • Ability to lift 5 to 50 pounds repeatedly.
