Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking an experienced TMF Forum Application Architect to join our team. As the TMF Forum Application Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions based on the Telecommunications Management Forum (TMF) standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems and applications adhere to TMF frameworks, enabling seamless integration and interoperability across our telecommunications ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of applications and systems based on TMF standards and frameworks, including but not limited to eTOM, TAM, SID, and Open APIs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient TMF-compliant solutions.
  • Define and document architecture principles, patterns, and guidelines to ensure alignment with TMF standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution architects to integrate TMF-based solutions into the broader IT landscape and ensure interoperability with existing systems and platforms.
  • Stay updated on the latest TMF specifications, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our TMF implementations.
  • Participate in TMF working groups, forums, and industry events to contribute to the evolution of TMF standards and promote best practices within the organization.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s or Master #39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an application architect or solution architect with a focus on TMF standards and frameworks in the telecommunications industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of TMF standards such as eTOM, TAM, SID, and Open APIs, and their practical application in designing and implementing telecom solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, with the ability to architect complex, scalable, and resilient systems.
  • Hands-on experience with TMF-compliant technologies and platforms, including OSS/BSS systems, service orchestration, API management, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred TM Forum certifications include TMF Certified Business Process Framework Professional and TMF Certified Open API Professional.
Requirements:
  • Must have a strong understanding of TMF entities, data models
  • Must have in-depth understanding of Residential Product Ordering phases through submission, orchestrations, billing, shipping, provisioning and fulfilment
  • Must be experienced with creating Process flows, Block diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models
  • Must have experience using various tools such as Visio, draw.io, UIDS -Figma and Axure, Confluence, Jira, Elicit
  • Demonstrated experience providing IT architecture and planning; ability to produce IT solutions, both independently and collaboratively; and Experience and/or training related to one or more Architectureamp; Service Delivery Frameworks (TOGAF, eTOM, ITIL, CoBiT, etc.)
