Job Description

VIBRATION ANALYSIS TECHNICIANWe are currently accepting resumes for a Vibration Analysis Technician based out of our Saint John, NB locationCFM is an inclusive and diverse work environment. We encourage qualified applications from members of racialized groups, women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous persons, and persons of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.Qualifications:- Education Required: Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma as a minimum or Bachelor of Sciences in mechanical engineering- Years of Experience Required: 1-3 years reliability experience or work term placements- Experience in industrial setting, specifically dealing with rotating equipment is considered an asset- Maintenance experience would be considered an asset- Experience with failure mode detection/fracture analysis would be considered an asset.Key Responsibilities:- Have a good understanding of vibration analysis technology and data interpretation- Perform vibration measurements and report data to supervisor for full analysis- Make recommendations to prevent equipment failure- Conduct failure analysis on troublesome equipment and recommend actions to resolve.About us:CFM is an integrated provider of support to the world’s most demanding industries.
