Co-Packing Production Associate – Servicing the Craft Beer/Cider Industry.We are a growing packaging and materials company based in Fredericton, NB, and Windsor, NS that offers its employees growth opportunities, technical experience, and work in the craft beverage (and yes, that includes beer!) industry.The Company:Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is a mobile craft beverage canning operation that services the Maritime craft beverage market. Although part of our operations are based just outside of Fredericton, we service the entire Maritimes. This role will be primarily at our 59 Melissa St Richibucto Road, Fredericton, NB, locationThe Position:As a member of the co-packaging team with Craft Coast Canning, you and your teammates will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Assist with production and packaging of food-safe beverages by adhering to SOP’s. Includes measuring and weighing ingredients, mixing, filtering, carbonating, and working a high-speed canning line.
• Perform quality assurance measurements such as pH, brix, CO2, and dissolved oxygen.
• Perform and verify Clean in Place (CIP) operations on equipment.
• Maintain a high standard of cleaning and organizing in the production facility.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of production and packaging logs.
• Assist with shipping and receiving through delivery inspections, following storage procedures, wrapping pallets, loading/ unloading trucks.

Ideal Candidate Possesses:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers license, with clean driving abstract.
• Experience hauling trailers considered an asset.
• Experience driving forklifts considered an asset.
• 1+ year experience in food and/or beverage production, with Food Safety Certificate, considered an asset.
• Background education in Science/ Food Science/ Engineering considered an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Able to comfortably spend long periods of time on your feet, lifting, bending, twisting.
• Flexible work schedule. Able/ willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to learn and pitch-in in all areas of copacking, and the wider business needs.
