Job Description

Weed Man/YardMaster Saskatoon is looking for a Vegetation Management Technician to join our team. The position will be based out of our Saskatoon office and be responsible for providing professional vegetation control by the way of herbicide application for our industrial customers in the Saskatoon area. While the vegetation control is seasonal, we do offer year round employment assisting with our other businesses Christmas Decoramp; Truly Nolen Pest Control. This position This position is full-time, permanent and we anticipate the start date to be mid-late March. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour days. Starting wage is $20-24 (depending on experience) plus overtime.Qualifications:

  • Valid class 5 SK Drivers License with clean driving record
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening test
  • Physically fit, able lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Prior experience an asset, but not a necessity
Responsibilities:
  • Operating herbicide application equipment to provide professional vegetation control for our customers
  • Communicate with customers as the front-line of contact
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision
  • Keep track of time and product
  • Maintain cleanliness of your truck and equipment
  • Safely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical products.
  • Complete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the position.
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Assisting with pest control and Christmas light installation in the off-season
