No cost to the employee for out of town work.Hours (each week): 32Location of work: Various locations in SK while working on the projectsEducation: No degree certificate or diplomaWork Experience: 5 years or moreJob Duties: Glaziers cut, fit, install and replace glass in commercial and industrial buildings, on exterior walls of buildings and other structuresRead and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials required Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolds, rigging and hoisting equipmentPosition glass panes into frames and secure glass using clips, points or mouldingsAssemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of buildingFabricate metal frames for glass installationInstall, fit, fabricate and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial buildingsInstall pre-cut mirrors and opaque and transparent glass panels in frames to form exterior walls of buildingsPrepare and install skylights, showcases and other special glass in churches, museums, sports and other establishmentsRepair and service commercial aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealantOther duties that applyJob Requirements: Must have Saskatchewan Apprentice certificate assessment Working in various locations in Saskatchewan Punctual Attention to detail Able independent and part of a team Physically fit and able to lift 150 lbs.
