In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple capital equipment projects through various stages, from concept to implementation, aligned with the life of mine equipment cycles. This is a hybrid position with frequent travel to corporate office and project sites, making it ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in managing complex industrial projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of capital equipment projects, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Frequent travel required to the corporate office and various project sites in Saskatchewan, especially during active project planning and execution.
  • Travel to site is required approximately once every 4 weeks, unless discussed otherwise with the reporting supervisor.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, facilitating communication, building trust, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and secure resources necessary for project execution, reporting regularly on project status and addressing any risks or issues.
  • Promote a project culture consistent with the company #39;s core values and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, while maintaining productivity and efficiency.

  • HD trade certification or professional engineering designation and/or PMP certification.
  • 3+ years of combined work experience in mobile equipment/project management within mining or industrial settings.
  • Experience managing projects related to mobile equipment, equipment rebuilds, and equipment manufacturing.
  • Experience in an underground mining environment is an asset.
  • A combination of education and relevant work experience in related fields will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of project management within the mining or industrial sectors, particularly related to capital equipment, mobile equipment, and equipment rebuilds or manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage and successfully navigate projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create and present clear reports to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on risk management and effective solution implementation.
