Job Description

Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team.Working with Project Managers on site, the Project Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, execution and completion of projects. They work collaboratively with other teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. To be successful, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and detail-oriented. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help develop project plans, schedules, and identify milestones alongside the project manager and other team members.
  • Ensure necessary equipment, materials and personnel are on site as per the project schedule.
  • Act as the main point of contact and coordinate communications for the various departments and teams working on the project.
  • Provide project manager and stakeholders with regular updates on the project status, including project schedule and budget.
  • Maintain project records and prepare reports as required.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
  • Degree in Business Administration or engineering.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite, MS Project, P6, or SAP
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
