Job Description

  • Monitor the quality of work performed by construction personnel.
  • Oversee, directly or indirectly, the activities of various fabricators, vendors, and work teams to ensure the constructed asset meets the expected specifications and overall quality requirements.
  • Review and approve all inspection and test plans provided by contractors.
  • Review each construction contractor’s quality management plan at the start of construction.
  • Monitor the quality control program throughout construction and ensure the inspection and test plan is followed.
  • Actively manage and coordinate construction deficiencies with the Construction Management Team (CMT) and contractor personnel.
  • Coordinate construction turnover at the end of the construction phase.
  • Work independently within a larger project team environment.

  • Working knowledge and general experience with electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of codes and standards applicable to industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, processes, and best practices.
  • High proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Journeyperson certification in either Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical trades.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Pre-access substance testing is required.
  • Journeyperson certification (Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical) preferred.
  • Work Schedule: 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out rotation
